It's time for our second P&C meeting for Term 2 next Tuesday, 17 June @7pm in the school library or via Teams. 

This time we're lucky to have a presentation from Betsy Pickering, Assistant Principal Curriculum and Instruction on Coogee Public's critical school-wide writing program. Betsy will walk us through the DoE explicit writing framework and how teachers guide students in the writing process.

You’ll see how data informs decision making in areas for growth in writing, how teachers use moderation to support consistent teacher judgement and you will get to hear some student-created narratives that showcase the strong, creative writers being developed at Coogee Public School.
